I've been using it since the 70s, so it's been a long time!

I've tried a lot of cables, but the 2497 is my favorite because of its "naturalness." It also has a low capacitance of 67 Hz, so it's reassuring for tube amplifier enthusiasts like me, as it reduces the wide-range drop caused by input resistance. It's a "masterpiece" that has a lot of information and is a bit cliched, so it's no wonder it has "survived" for so many years.
